I created some new and interesting pieces this week. Incense Burners. But not just your ordinary incense burner. These are made with clay and I melted colored glass on them during the firing. I am very excited about them. Hope you like.

This week I am stressed (but I really shouldn't be) because I have been writing the article for a magazine I am going to be in. I have never written something like this. I went to school for ART! We barely had to write papers, only in art history courses, but that was only like 2 papers total! haha. Anyway. This article is a technique article, based on my jewelry. How I create it.... or how someone else could go about creating it. I was a bit leery about writing it, because there are so many copy-cats out there. But, I came to the conclusion, that my art is my art, no one could do it exactly like mine. There are other people out there with the same technique, yet we all still have our own style. So, that said, I felt being in the magazine is just a huge compliment and I will get huge recognition, so its all worth it! I will put up more details later, when I know them. I think release date is sometime in June.... but let me get back to you on that. It's Belle Armoire Jewelry Mag. You can find it in major book stores, or even Michael's Craft store.
